Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D. was exposed to Afro-Indian healing traditions at an early age. In his youth he travelled the Amazon and the Andes extensively, researching Native American healing techniques. He later directed the Biological Self-Regulation Laboratory at San Francisco State University, where he investigated mind-body medicine and the neuro-physiology of healing. He also founded and directs the Energy Medicine School at the Four Winds Society. He lives in Los Angeles.

I read lots of books on Shamanism,and have been practising for about 15 years;this is the BEST book that actually is practicle-unlike a lot of hard to apply books on the subject.Go Alberto,living up to being a Cuban-great work!
